PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Center for Visual Arts
2009 – 2010 Commissioned to build a sculpture with 15 other teenage students from different schools. This project involved a lot of consensus building on the creative idea and problem solving skills to resolve different media attachment issues.
Eagle Rock School
2019 - 2020 Visual arts fellow working for AmeriCorps and Public allies. Lived on campus to help students at the school. Taught metalsmithing and other mixed media. Volunteered to help around the community with students, was an advisor to six students, supervised and helped run study hall with other instructional fellows.
Art Spark
2022 Helped lead and co- teach art classes in an art studio for kids of all ages. Set up, restock and cleaned all activities in all three classrooms. I assisted in the fibers, sculpture, and painting classroom for afternoon classes and birthday parties.
Denver Botanic Gardens
2022 - current Creating and teaching science through art activities and lesson plans to teach K - 12 students about the environment.
Bitfactory Gallery
2023 Gallery assistant at front desk. Helped manage the gallery space during open hours, sold art, communicated with clients about where and how to pick up sold art work, assisted during 1st Fridays, helped hang and mount artwork and worked one on one with the artists exhibiting and owner.
Denver Botanic Gardens
May 9th 2024 Taught a 6 hour long adult glass flower beading class. This was a 2 part session for beginners to learn how to bead with glass flowers and wire.
Clear Creek Maker Space
2024 Commissioned to paint a mural with 3 other people on 3 exterior walls from October - November.
